Malta
geographically belongs to both Europe and the Mediterranean. In concert with its European and Transatlantic partners, our small island state cherishes democracy, human rights and the rule of law, and proudly recognizes its humanitarian obligations towards its fellow-nations.
At the same time, Malta seeks to forge its own identity in this globalized world, aware of its pioneering archaeological legacy and conscious of its capacity to bridge Mediterranean culture thanks to its unique, linguistic heritage.
